About Gender Plus

Our gender and sexuality is formed, established and affirmed by an intricate and sensitive process. It is influenced by and subject to numerous external factors beyond our control – traditions, parenting, education, the media and our culture – and largely shaped by our response to those factors through our own will and choices. Experiences – good, bad and even traumatic – cause us to develop our individualised ways of expressing who we think or feel we are, and towards whom we choose to express our love and sexuality.

Genderplus is my story. It tells how though I was once a gay and broken man, I encountered relationship with Jesus Christ; through surrender, I allowed God’s unconditional love to permeate and saturate even these delicate areas of my gender and sexuality.

This book will take you on a rollercoaster journey of emotions, challenging what has become the norm and even treading on some toes. More than that, it will inspire you with hope for change, and invite you into an amazing, loving and life-changing relationship with the heavenly Father.

I dare you, reader, to embark on this journey with me!

"Ennrich’s story is a must-read remarkable journey from beginning to end. It is a story of grace & redemption over guilt & rejection. He makes sense of what is one of the most confusing issues of our time in a brave, honest and straightforward way. I recommend it wholeheartedly."

"‘Everything is beautiful in its time’ says Ecclesiastes: this book is a brilliant example of this principle. I’ve known Ennrich for many years and watched his passion to help others grow and now find expression through the publication of his truly life-changing story. It's a book that offers hope in a time when many are confused by same-sex attraction issues and the challenges of finding their God-created self. It's a great read, but best of all, it inspires hope, offers the possibility of freedom and invites all to get involved in being part of the answer."

"Ennrich has shared his story with honesty and integrity. He has led an interesting life and endured some very painful experiences. It would be understandable if he had given up. However, this book is testimony of his courage and the saving, healing power of Jesus Christ. It will surely be a source of great hope to others. "

"Ennrich skillfully and humbly uses words to paint the picture of where he has been, where he is now and where he hopes and plans to go in his future. You will travel with him as he shares deeply and movingly; his honesty regarding the incredible change in his life will touch your soul. This book is a love story, a love story made from heaven. My wife Trish and I watch Ennrich with his gorgeous wife Samantha as they move through life together and we marvel at the beautiful miracle God has wrought in and through them. His story prompts me to exclaim…All things are possible with God!"

"Ennrich is an incredible man who has experienced so much. I am proud to call him my friend. I am so pleased that he has finally written about his life and told the full, undiluted story.
I have been profoundly impacted and even brought to tears by this book. It will enlighten you but also leave you asking questions. It will make you cry in one sentence but then cause you smile in the next. But most of all it will cause you to encounter the God who made a way for him where there seemed no way. That's the best part."
